The word is out! Our four-legged masters rock!

EAL3

Well the holidays have come and gone and a new year is starting. Unbridled Coaching saw an unprecedented year in 2013 and we want to share some of the highlights with you to show our gratitude for such a wonderful year.
2013 started off with the development of a new website (www.unbridledcoaching.com) in late spring; followed by a feature article on the cover of the LifeStyle section of the Ottawa Citizen in August and a clip on Regional Contact on CTV in early September (https://unbridledcoaching.com/in-the-press/). These gifts brought attention to our service and allowed us to deliver many breakthrough sessions to the clients who came to experience the “Power of the Horse”.  Maureen and I often joke that we are mere props next to our master four-legged coaches.  All kidding aside, we are blessed to have studied with and been certified by our Master Coach Koelle Simpson. And the best gift of all is how our own personal development continues to flourish as we share in our clients’ aha moments!

Some of the most powerful moments include where at the end of a group workshop we were all standing in a circle and our clients were asked to each share in their most impactful take-home experience and Koko (one of our horse partners) came over and joined us in the circle seemingly to say “Ya, I want to hear them too!”.  Another was at the end of a weekend workshop when we were in the open field doing some grounding and herd observation, three of the horses lined up to say goodbye to our client. And yet another is when we revealed to one of our clients that she was working with our lead mare she made the connection that she too was the lead mare in her life and how in following up with her she re-iterated the positive impact that experience continues to have on her life and her relationships (both professionally and personally). One of the most precious moments was when a client doing a herding exercise with her partner realized that being present and focused herself she can be on the “same page in the same book” with her partner….she was so exhilarated she ran up to him and gave him a high five! That moment of connection was very special and heart-filling to the clients …and it confirmed to both Maureen and me why we are in this line of work and is truly a reflection of the “Power of the Horse”.

The horses have other amazing impacts on our clients as well, as several have decided to pursue their relationship with horses by taking up riding lessons (some in their 50s and who have never ridden before!) and are loving every moment they have with horses.

Oh and how could we forget Obie! Obie is Foxview Stables’ big orange barn cat who serendipitously showed up in our sessions to do his own “cat whispering”.

To celebrate the fabulous year that has just passed and the new incredible year commencing, Unbridled Coaching would like to offer returning clients and clients who are referred to us by previous clients, a 10% discount on all packages.

Happy 2014 – It’s the year of the Horse!
